'Reminiscence'- A feeling of love & distress

'REMINISCENCE'

"I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go,
but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye"

I had a cat for 2 years, which we unexpectedly found under our car bonnet as tiny as around 2 weeks old. We started feeding her everyday, while she used to roam everywhere. With time, she became one of the most important part of our family; becoming the reason why we started rescuing other strays.
Her untimely death made me realize how desperately I wanted to sit beside her for the last time when she was fine, and not on her death bed- waiting for her ordeal to get over with every gentle stroke we gave on her head while she struggled in her last minutes.
The project was a way of reminiscing the memories and express that feeling of turmoil after her loss.
