SickKids Pediatric Stroke Leaflet
I was asked by SickKids Hospital to create a leaflet to promote awareness for World Pediatric Stroke Awareness Week.
My goal with the design was to visually represent a stroke. Ischemic strokes are caused by blockages in someones arteries, resulting in a lack of blood flow to the brain. I tried to replicate this with various thicks and thins of the purple lines, with a large collection around some letters, and leaving others without much definition. This lead to a beuatiful visual imbalance.
