Designing a bedframe from an 8 ft door was a unique challenge. This door came from a project at the Architectural firm I work at where the client gave permission for me to reuse. The door was heavy and is made of extremely dense MDF. The door knob hole is placed at the front of the bed for focal point while the headboard is wrapped in elegant oval embossed fabric  Overall cost for this project was $300.
