Martha is a mechanical typeface by coppersandbrasses reminiscent of digital/code, while having a strong personality. As a conceptual base for their ten years of existence, we created a bridge with the 1-0 numbers that make up binary code. Robots naturally became ambassadors of the specimen by revealing themselves through AI application.

The object is made up of a 24x36 fold, offering 9 detachable panels each offering an individual composition. A cut-out of squares in the intersections facilitates folding while integrating with the graphic design (the same measure as the inner margins). The PMS "copper" printing reminds us of the materiality of robots, electrical wire, and electronic chips while also being a nod to the foundry's name.
