Through imaginative and melancholic allegories, I give current issues a stage to inspire and provoke reflection. Symbols and metaphors are essential elements of my work, allowing me to portray complex themes in unconventional ways. I find inspiration in art and contemporary discourse in our society. My technique typically involves a combination of pen and digital tools, resulting in a unique visual style.

Danaë 2021
Inspired by Gustav Klimt's Danaë the artwork Danaë 2021 refers to the ambivalence of loneliness. On the one hand, loneliness is frightening and can lead to depression. The social isolation during the current pandemic has again obviously demonstrated us this. On the other hand, loneliness can also be a kind of spiritual relaxation in which you can gather new strength, rearrange your thoughts and foster creativity. Although the digital world helps us to stay in contact with our friends and family, but it will never replace a real meeting, especially a hug.

PERSONALIZED REALITY
Personalized reality deals with a topic that has become part our everyday life. Filter bubbles and fake news dominate us, presenting more and more content in which we find ourselves, that resonate with our beliefs and reinforces them. Our personalized reality. This work uses the western symbolism of the three monkeys to refuse to admit everything bad. However, my reinterpretation of this presentation goes one step further. It shows the unreflective consumption of content. Everything outside the bubble you do not want to believe. In other words, listen, see, and share your personal reality!

Temptation
This work visualizes temptation and how it subconsciously affects us.
Thanks for watching!
