NACHT- NIGHT
Acrylic on wood- 30x21 cm
When I was a kid I had a window in my room and every night I could see the lights of the cars wander on my walls. It would calm me and I could fall asleep.
To give the light a more important role I painted the two most important components for this scene- my bed and the window. To give it the desired shadow effect and a depth- I  tightened a paper over the box the painting is in and cut out the shape of the window/ wandering light.
