Purple Prose - (Anti) Fashion Editorial
Purple Prose, in literary criticism, is an overly ornate writing that disrupts a narrative flow by drawing unwelcome attention to its own extravagant style of writing. It is characterised by long sentences, multi-syllabic words, excessive emotion, and a plethora of clichés. It's typically melodramatic and often too poetic.
This (anti) fashion editorial is a rather ridiculous take on fashion trends that are or once were quite the rage. It is satire, a little derision, and a plain parody of fashion trends, each look being exaggerated to the point of ridicule.
