From my time with Summit Marketing
While at Summit Marketing Group, I was responsible for creating and producing catalogs for promotional specialty items for various clients such as Coca-Cola, Kellogg's and Merrill Lynch. Responsibilities included initial sketch concepts for the look and feel of the catalog itself, followed by sketches of each page layout for distributing each item in the catalog. Also art directed photo-shoots for all items in the catalog. Then producing the catalog itself (at times managing a junior designer) to final completion, including photo-manipulation and retouching. Finally press-checking the catalog on press or via proofs supplied by printer.
