Pioneering Beauty
 
 Playing on the idea of pioneering I have rebranded the Body Shop using the idea of them as beauty pioneers in terms of explores; traveling the globe to find innovative and new natural ingredients to use in their products. Using this idea I have based all my imagery around the indication of maps. Using elements such as contour lines and map boarders across all of my branding. 
Packaging
 
As part of the rebranding I have looked at how this could be applied to product packaging. I have kept the copy very light hearted and quite cheeky, using slogans such as ‘hand cream for exploring hands’, which also relates to the theme of traveling.
Product Posters
 
My product posters continues with the idea of Pioneering Beauty done in an illustrative style. The map used in the background is the outline of the country where each of the main ingredients of the products are sourced from. These ingredients are also the illustrations on the poster. For example the first one advertising Body Butter shows illustrations of shea nuts from Ghana. 
Poster Campaign and in Store
 
For my poster campaign I want to promote The Body Shop as a sustainable and ethical brand. To do this I continued with the idea of traveling, but focused on the quality and nature of their ingredients being all natural. I have created a poster that will be used in store to advertise that all the ingredients are from all over the world. I have also designed map to go in store as a piece of wall art. The map highlights where the ingredients are from across the globe. On this wall products will be placed on built in shelves next to the countries of the main ingredients origin, making this piece of wall art not only informative but an effective space saving solution.
 
In Store Wall Art
The idea is this piece of wall art will enforce the idea of Pioneering Beauty across the brand by making an impact in store. It will also inform customers on where The Body Shop sources its ingredients and which products they are in.
