The texture map for the skin. originally I was considering making it the fur's tip color.
One of the many fur tests I performed. I had never done anything with maya fur before so this was a new experience for me.
I played around with many looks, this one after the scraggly hair of the three-toed sloth.
This is a sample of the almost completed fur maps. As you can see, at the time I still needed to get rid of the almost grid like look on the rump and the extreme clumping on the belly.
