Not only was 2019-2020 my last year at Humber for my academics, but it was also my last year as a Humber Hawk. To honour that, I thought it would be a fun little project to make player trading cards of my team from that year.

I was aiming to go for a modern, more contemporary feel than your typical hockey player cards you might buy at the store. I went with the standard navy and gold as the main colours, but also a cyan for some pop.

On the front, I wanted to highlight the runner doing what they do best, but also have a candid shot in the back as another visual. For the reverse side, I wanted to list some “stats”/information about each person, in a simpler format but still keeping consistent with the design on the front.
