Birling Gap
Set against the backdrop of the Seven Sisters rising out of the Cuckmere Valley and accessed from the East Sussex village of East Dean or the coastal road from Eastbourne via Beachy Head, the sea pounds against the pebbles eating away at the rolling Sussexdownland by approximately 0.6 metres per year. An elemental place, where the sea and the dazzling white chalk cliffs ensure the lights dances in all weathers.
