Sailing Leaf is like a small boat placed at home, carrying the love between humans and pets. At the front we can plant climbers. At the rear we can place our beloved pets. Along the support, new life grows like a sail, as dusk comes and goes, end to end, sails away.

一葉小舟放置家中，承載著人類與寵物間的愛。前端種植爬藤植物，後方安置我們心愛的寵物，順著支架新生命如帆般生長，暮去朝來，首尾相接，揚帆啟航。

Background | Can death be beautiful? Can love be continued?

Pets are considered as family members just like children. However, their lives are much shorter than ours. When our pets pass away, many of us may be the first time to experience death. So can death be beautiful? Can love be continued?

By becoming a decoration and a planting vessel, Sailing Leaf hopes that death will no longer be cold and untalkable, but will continue the love of the past with the beauty of new life.

寵物就像孩子一樣是家庭成員之一，然而他們的生命卻比人類成員短暫太多，在寵物離開我們時多數人可能是第一次面對死亡，那麼能否讓死亡變得美好？我們的愛又是否能夠長存？

通過成為家中擺飾，同時化身為種植容器，「一葉舟」希望死亡不再是冰冷的，也不再是被避而不談的，而是將過往的愛以新生命的美好繼續延續。

Inspiration

The ancients said "fallen leaves return to the roots". Moreover, in the ancient legends of various cultures, the end of life often involves rivers: The River of Forgetfulness in Chinese culture; Sanzu no Kawa in Japanese culture; the Styx River in Greek mythology; Gjöll in Norse mythology; the Hubur River in Mesopotamia; Hiṭpun in Mandaean; and the Kalunga Line in Congo.
Therefore, the shape of Sailing Leaf is superimposed with the image of leaves and boats, overlooking as a piece of leaf, front look as a sailing boat.

古人道「鳥倦舊巢葉歸根」；而且在各個文化的古老傳說中，對於生命盡頭的描述離不開河流，東方的忘川、奈河；東亞的三途川；古希臘神話中的斯提克斯河；北歐神話的吉歐爾河；美索不達米亞的胡布爾河；曼德信仰中的希特潘；還有剛果傳說中的卡倫加線。

因此「一葉舟」的造形以葉片與小舟的意象疊加而成，俯看如葉片，正視如揚帆的小舟。
