Inspired by a lucid dreaming experience, this drawing conveys the emotions felt when I was awake in the morning. The ink mark-making represents my consciousness, and the gradients drawn by the pencil represent my unconscious. Abstracted animals and human features emerge in and out of the streams of consciousness, which are the twisting lines across the artwork. The woman in the middle remains unidentified because she cannot draw the line between internal and external realities.
