Üstad Magazine 15th Issue Editorial Illustrations '2022

The illustration i made for the article "Catalyst" in the 15th issue of Üstad Magazine.

The illustration on the back cover of the 15th issue of Ustad (Advocacy for All) Magazine was made for the article "The Ways Social Media Distorts Facts" in this issue. The article explains that the advertising-oriented and interaction-maximizing business model of social media causes social media to distort reality. It also examines the methods of distorting reality used by social media, its effects on society and what can be done. The portrait of the person in the illustration is one of the distortion methods; it deals with excessive emotion, attractive content, moral anger and marginalization in the form of eyes. Thus, the person is distracted and looks in all directions instead of what s/he should see.

The illustration i made for the article "Patient, Physician, System Relationship: A Matter of Responsibility & the Vicious Circle of Problems in the Field of Medicine"  by Burak Biçer, a trainee lawyer of the Ankara Bar Association, in the 15th issue of Üstad Magazine.
