SITI DEWI
This piece was inspired by one of Hikayat Sri Rama's wayang kulit heroine figures. To create this work, I used digital media as a medium. In this painting, I use a round brush to create the strokes and patterns. Based on Siti Dewi's puppet, this painting was created. Because I wish to convey the character of Siti Dewi, who is a peaceful and loving woman, this painting is based on a batik flower design. She carried a flower in her hand and had a scarf around her shoulders. I created this piece because I wanted to educate people about the puppet characters that the majority of the current generation is unfamiliar with.
