The thesis is proposed as an attempt at communication, an exploration of worlds that we already know but are basically unknown to us. The underlying theme is that of communication with alien life forms, understood as belonging to extremely distant cultures and worlds. It is in essence a speculative/participatory design project that reflects on the theme of translation, personal reinterpretation and re-signification. The process of making the project required several phases: after an initial research phase focused on the study of the Voyager Golden Record (1977), speculative design, and the sci-fi genre, we move on to a second phase of data collection through the creation of online calls open to the public that lead to the project's end, which consists of submitting feedback from call participants to an artificial intelligence capable of translating textual input
