These perky ears gave a few extra inches to the magnificent 17-hand hinney named Snowbelle.
While a mule has a horse for a mother and a donkey for a father, a hinney is the rare, opposite creation between a stallion and a jenny. Even more unique, Snowbelle was truly white as her name suggests.

She was rescued from a kill lot in Texas by the Ark Watch Foundation, and spent her final years in the safety of the Sanctuary at Red Bell Run, lazily grazing in her pasture with her best friends, Winston and Mariah, two mammoth donkeys.

Many thanks to the Ark Watch Foundation and Red Bell Run for all they do for our furry friends.
