Phil Giboney owns and operates Trojan One Properties, a property management and maintenance firm in greater Seattle, Washington. Outside of the workplace, Phil Giboney is an experienced scuba diver who holds certification through PADI.

An acronym for Professional Association of Diving Instructors, PADI is the primary certifying organization for professional and recreational scuba divers around the world. Its Open Water Diver certification has introduced millions of people to the joys of diving.

The first level of scuba training and certification that PADI offers, the Open Water Diver program places students under the supervision and guidance of an experienced instructor dedicated to fostering a relaxed and supportive learning environment. To transform novices into skilled and confident divers, the program teaches them how to use and care for scuba gear, achieve desired buoyancy in the water, and calmly address common problems as they arise. Students also learn how to approach and observe marine life with respect and safety.
