Aesthetics cures all, instant relief from feelings, alienation and violence. This statement critiques the modernist aesthetics of cleanliness, smoothness and neutrality, challenging the modernist gospel. It makes space for different standards of aesthetics, messiness and imperfection in design. The ironic reference to medical advertisements pinpoints the inherent flaw of universalist design as a "cure-all." Reminding the viewers that aesthetics are diverse and ever changing.
