Ruff to Pawsome - Full Page Ad

Ruff to Pawsome 6x21.5 Ad

This was a full page ad (6 column or 9.89 inches by 21.5 inches) for a local pet grooming salon called Ruff to Pawsome. I know the owners and they run a great shop who treat their clients very well. I do have a bias though as my wife runs her own pet grooming salon called "Pawsitively Stylin" where they also pamper your cats and dogs (and even other animals!). They are both great places to take your fur babies.

Back on track...The advertiser was running a raffle drawing contest for their customers who entered by purchasing a ticket at their shop. The winner would win a basket full of toys, treats, and more for their dog. As such, they wanted a huge, full-page ad to show off the raffle contest.

This contest was also co-sponsored by several local businesses shown at the bottom of the page. I had designed other ads for their business earlier in the year so I had themed them all with a background to match the rustic wood flooring in their shop and shared the colors of the logo with other elements in the ad. I also had to create the QR codes that would take the customer to the Ruff to Pawsome website.

I cannot take credit for the Ruff to Pawsome logo, although I did have to redraw it since my source images were too small for such a large ad. This logo was designed by "KR Rawlings Design" (the co sponsor in the bottom right corner). She created several variations for different uses and she did a stellar job! She did a fantastic design, very clean, bright, and it captures the curious puppy spirit very well. As much as I want to do all the design work out there, KR Rawlings is very talented at what she does and she is a great choice for anyone needing a graphic designer. Please check her out!
