Pirate Ship
Workflow:
This project was inspired by the movie pirates of the Caribbean. As a beginner it took me about a month to make. The first idea was to make an animation where the ship appears from under the water like in the movie, but in closer to finishing this project I realised that it had about 1,440,000 polygons and my PC won’t be able to render an animation. About 2-3 first weeks took to model the ship, during this time I learned a lot of useful tips and techniques by watching guides on YouTube. Next step was texturing- it was a bit hard to get a hang of shading nodes, but eventually I got it. Another hard thing for me to do was UV unwrapping. It was difficult for me to understand how to mark seems and after completing the project I’m still practicing. Now I think this is my best work so far  I put a lot of time and effort into it and it helped me to understand a lot of blender features.
