Weeding Keepsake

A couple of friends, María & Pato, got married, and even though I couldn’t attend the big day, I wanted to create something special for the occasion. I came up with a wedding keepsake, celebrating their union. The design was laser cut on thick paper and had colored paper underneath to reveal details in color. I tested different materials: balsa wood, thick paper and tested different color palettes. I also created a version engraved in birch which I sent to the happy couple.
