Criolo - Brazilian Rapper
This is a personal work, made entirely in digital media where the entire design process, from sketching to painting, was done freehand using huion's graphics tablet and photoshop software.

This is an illustration of the Brazilian Rap singer who was raised on the outskirts of São Paulo and therefore represents the reality of the vast majority of the Brazilian people and brings this experience to the lyrics of his music criticizing the Brazilian system of social inequality.
To make this illustration, a great search of images of the singer Criolo was made until arriving at the chosen image, which is below.
Furthermore, my idea was to make a realistic portrait, but using a technique close to impressionism where it is possible to clearly see the brushstrokes and marks used to compose the portrait and I was based a lot on the technique used by Illustrator Aaron Griffin, on everything in your illustration that is below.
