Marianna is an illustrator, animation director and visual artist based in Milan. Given her location, it’s no surprise that she began her career as a visual designer for a fashion brand, experimenting with visual communication, motion design and video. She subsequently made the leap to freelance illustration in 2018 and has never looked back.

Using strong brush strokes, she evokes a strong sense of atmosphere and drama in her imagery. Her highly versatile style explores themes of irony, humour, and melancholy, with cocktails and canapes in abundance.

Her illustrations have appeared in advertising campaigns, books, magazines and newspapers, with clients including Washington Post, Apple, New York Times, Kraft, Adobe, NBA, Nike, Campari, Repubblica, Ferrero, Marriot and many others.
