Ambrosia Hitchcock's profile

Rebrand + Website Update

This client wanted to rebrand and update their website for their 50th anniversary. The first two images below show how their original homepage appeared prior to my pitch.
This is a male-dominated industry, so I noted the desire to remain gender-neutral in aesthetic. This company in particular specializes in cutting-edge environmentally friendly water management systems and is based in the Pacific Northwest, so I also knew greens and blues would be preferred colors. Fonts that would be easy to read across different devices and especially for the visually impaired were a priority, and I utilized all-capitalized lettering where it was most important: brand recognition and page navigation. The following image is how this homepage looks today.
My client's favorite touch is navigation via location image. This company has four branches across the Pacific Northwest, and to assist in immediate location recognition and to smooth the user experience, I designed these hover-click buttons for customers to immediately view and navigate to their correct respective location representatives. I believe it was important to set this company apart from its competitors by highlighting the natural beauty of its serviced regions, and inspiring loyalty to this brand that actively works to preserve the beauty of these areas by pioneering sustainable equipment design and trade. The final effect is a website that is far simpler to navigate, aesthetically appealing, and up-to-date for the brand's next 50 year journey.
