Save Harold! Project
This project was for my Raster and Vector Technologies class.
For this project, I had to restore two images, a man with his dog on a car and a beagle using Adobe Photoshop.
Photoshop tools used for either or image:
-Object Selection
-Curves
-Clone Stamp
-Path Selection
-Spot Healing
-Patch
-Crop
For this image, step by step, my process was:
1. First, I duplicated the image
2. Cropping the plain outside of the image to focus on the actual image
3. I then used the spot healing tool for imperfections- small black dots, small white dots, dent on the car, bend parts of the image
4. I also used the patch tool for the sky imperfections
5. Then I made my image black and white in the layers panel- the half black, half white circle
6. Next, I used the curves and vibrance for making the image clearer and bright

Steps used to fix the Beagle image:
1. First, duplicate the image
2. Then use the object selection tool on the isolated ripped part of the ear
2. After the image was selected, I pulled it towards the rest of the image
3. Next, I used the spot healing tool on the imperfections of the image
4. For the thumb print and the coffee stains, I used the patch tool since it would not work using the spot healing tool
5. I then used the crop straightening tool then cropped the image
6. The curves tool was used next to make the image more appealing and clearer
