The advantage of this canyon (unlike Okatse Canyon) is that you can go down to the waterfalls.

Tsalka Canyon is known for its stunning cascading waterfalls that provide coolness in summer. Tsalka Waterfall acquires an exotic emerald color and forms dozens of frozen waterfalls in winter. In the vicinity of the waterfall, it is also warmer in winter than in the nearby villages of Tsalka and Dashbashi. On the way to the canyon through Tsalka there are ruins of the medieval fortress of Kldekari [ka], the center of resistance of the princes of Kldekari against the Georgian tsars.
