This is the making of my visual story

I started by thinking about what I wanted to do. Very quickly I decided I wanted to make a physical project. 

I started by making a moodboard filled with all kinds of things I like, that ended up having a very nice fantasy style. 

After that I decided I wanted to make a visual story, a scene out of a story, build inside of a book. I wrote a scene and made a sketch of what I wanted it to look like. 

I glued all the pages together, and carved out a few parts for one of the shelves and for the fire place. 

I made small parts for the table, the chair and elements for on the shelves and glued them into the book. 

In the next pictures I've added more details and glued all the parts together

After this, I added the final details and gave parts of the book and furniture a paint wash, aging everything a little more. This ended up being the finished product in front of you.
