IT Moj in tl’aqua / ‘Nserta dopu nserta, sono due frasi apparentemente lontane tra di loro, lontane per il suono, lontane per la locazione. Rappresentano due mondi, due storie che si parlano a distanza. Mondine, lavoratrici di risaia, e le Tabacchine, lavoratrici di tabacco salentine, hanno storie molto simili che si intrecciano in lontananza e che si toccano in maniera inaspettata. La loro storia parla di sofferenza ed ingiustizie che trovano sfogo nei canti di lavoro: unica via di fuga dalle lunghe e strazianti ore di lavoro.
La necessità di ricordare e fare memoria sulla loro storia si concretizza in un libro e in un allestimento, simbolo del legame tra questi due lavori di donna.

Moj in tl’aqua / ‘Nserta dopu nserta vuole accostare il mondo delle mondine con quello delle tabacchine e viceversa, attraverso un incontro che non è mai avvenuto. Il progetto cerca quindi di realizzare una “nuova testimonianza”, una testimonianza che sia il risultato di un confronto aperto, di un dialogo in sintonia, di un impegno reciproco, autentico e costruttivo. Proprio per questo motivo il libro è progettato in maniera tale da non avere né inizio né fine: da una parte si trova la storia delle mondine della bassa bolognese e dall’altra quella delle tabacchine del leccese e viceversa.
Il fine di ognuna delle due parti è in realtà il confronto centrale, l’incontro, il punto in cui le storie si congiungono e uniscono in una sola, “nuova testimonianza”. Qui, si condensa un apparato iconografico d’archivio in cui le immagini delle protagoniste femminili sono intervallate dai canti popolari che contraddistinguono questi due gruppi di lavoratrici, prendendo forma anche nell’allestimento tramite tessuti che veicolano le storie.
L’allestimento diviene parte integrante dello spazio in cui viene collocato, assumendo nuovi significati. Primo luogo di accoglienza è il Castello Volante di Corigliano d’Otranto dove è stato esposto dal luglio all’ottobre 2022.
EN Moj in tl'aqua / 'Nserta dopu nserta, are two seemingly disconnected phrases, distant in sound, distant in location. They represent two worlds, two stories that speak to each other at a distance. Mondine, rice field workers, and Tabacchine, Salento tobacco workers, have very similar stories that intertwine at a distance and touch each other in unexpected ways. Their story speaks of suffering and injustice that find an escape in work songs: the only get-away from the long and harrowing hours of work.
The need to remember and make memory about their story is embodied in a book and an exhibition, a symbol of the bond between these two women's work.
Moj in tl'aqua / 'Nserta dopu nserta wants to juxtapose the world of the mondine with that of the tabacchine and vice versa, through an encounter that never happened.
The project thus seeks to create a "new testimony," a testimony that is the result of open discussion, an attuned dialogue, and a mutual, authentic and constructive engagement. It is precisely for this reason that the book is designed in such a way that it has neither beginning nor end: on one side is the story of the mondine of Bologna's countryside area and on the other the story of the tabacchine of Lecce and vice versa.

The aim of each of the two parts is actually the central encounter, the meeting, the point at which the stories join and unite into one, "new testimony." Here, an archival iconographic apparatus is condensed in which images of the female protagonists are interspersed with the folk chants that distinguish these two groups of women workers, also taking shape in the staging through textiles that convey the stories.
The setting becomes an integral part of the space in which it is located, taking on new meanings. First host site is the Flying Castle in Corigliano d'Otranto where it was exhibited from July to October 2022.
