TRUTH, ANTI-TRUTH

TRUTH, ANTI-TRUTH

This Project is based on and inspired by Jorge Luis Borges’ hypothetical world in the short novel ‘The Library of Babel’. The intent of this project was to traverse and produce proposals for a complex (contemporary) reality. A lot of references and inspiration came from Plato’s Allegory to understand and explain the concept of ‘truth’. We produced two books which included hypothetical algorithms for truths and anti-truths of the world. Aside from the algorithms, the books focused on how truth is perceived and how it is quantified and qualified. Common reality & absolute truth more often tend to be in a juxtaposition. The philosophical explanation of such phenomenons are explained in the chapters with the help of mathematical formulae & problems which are then executed in Python as a coding programme to creating coding artwork and generative designs. The books also contain computational coding & generative art.
