Moses parting the Red Sea | Graphic Design

This design with an interpretive reading of colors and inspired by minimalist art, is taken from the biblical passage of Exodus at the crossing of the Red Sea.

Moses’ silhouette in the center is in contrast to the desert sun in yellow. This is how the Israelites saw him.

The open arms show the yearning for freedom leaving slavery behind, and the cane in Moses’ hand, a sure and powerful guide.

The blue water rises from a darker color below to more tenuous colors, indicating the weakness of human nature that grows towards the power of God.

The four orange rings in the horizon represent the forty years in the desert.

The entire design is wrapped in a circle to close the epic biblical episode.
