For this music video, I was given a lot of footage of the band engaged in a series of hilarious capers- and a free run to do what i wanted to creatively. A hugely enjoyable project. Highlights for me were creating a spinning vortex from stills of paintings by band member John Mckeown, and doing mad things to the sky. Edited on FCP, this project helped me push my knowledge of motion keyframing and other basic animation techniques. I taught the band about colour keying and they turned up with some interesting footage of people's mouths painted green, which allowed me to create the creepy image of lead singer TIm with half his face missing.
