A piece I painted and designed digitally for Advertising Illustration, a class at SCAD. We were asked to create a portrait incorporated into a stamp. The preferred subject matter was a celebrity, and the only descriptive focus we were given was the word “hair.”
I depicted Annie Clark, known better by her stage name St. Vincent, a talented musician who's making waves with her unique style of unsettling pop music. I portrayed her with the futuristic hair style she paraded on the cover of her recent self-titled album.
