This unisex two-piece design is built on the inspiration of Mulan and the changes in her character, the pockets stand for the labels and misconceptions that are applied onto us, in the movie Mulan was strong enough to defy them and live her truth.
Hook and loop strips are sawn onto the shirt to secure the pockets, but the pockets can be taken off in order for one to be closer for their truths and be pocketless.
