The Filial Son and The Ripe Perssimon (효자와 홍시)

Once upon a time in summer, a son takes a journey to seek for a ripe perssimon, for her sick mother. At the tip of montain in blizzard, riding a tiger, the son find the one.

Snake Husband (뱀신랑)

This folk tale is kind of transformation tale. A snake born between old husband and wife, he grows well as like ordinary person, but in snake shape. He finally get married with kind wife, then he sheds his snake skin and shifts as handsome man.

Princess Bari (바리 공주)

Abandoned by her parents who are king and queen, Bari was raised by kind old couple. When the king gets illness, Bari has a journey to after land to save his life. After the cure, she arrives at the realm of god for the dead and shamanism and accepts it.

Geotaji (거타지)

Geotaji is the Silla's general, good at shooting arrows. East Sea Dragon King request him for saving his sons from the Old Fox. The Old Fox is the monster which kidnaps dragons and eats up them for power. So he beats that beast and save dragon king's sons and praised.

Mago the Halmi (마고 할미)

As a Genesis of some korean folk tale, there is a goddess who called 'Mago', She creat the world with 8 basis sounds. Mago's genesis is contrary to any genesis tales which use the light for creating world.
