Summer 2013 Sketchbook

Over the summer of 2013, I didn't bring many of my art supplies back to my hometown with me, so I was stuck with Sharpie markers, gel pens, & micron pens. Little did I know that I would fall in love with working with these simple mediums & get so inspired! I eventually was able to buy watercolors & other materials to help, but for the most part, I stuck with pens throughout the summer.

Here are just a few of my drawings from my sketchbook during that time. These are not serious works; just experimentation in style & medium.
