Book of Objects: Everything Stays.

Everything stays: A short book about memory and the impact of holding onto small objects that greatly hold a grip on my heart and who I am as a person.

This cover photo was taken in Moab Utah, the place where I want to eventually make a life for myself and my dog, Bees.
The repetition of picture: The idea of seeing things fuzzy or unclearly the first time you see them, not understanding their significance until you take a deeper look at them.
Bees: The usage of placement, the picture over her eyes, taking away the sense of knowing all about the picture and being able to relate it to the text that goes with the picture. Having to read and understand what the writer is saying without having full context.
Little Lemons: The use of the blue-ish hue over the picture gives a sense of sadness, because if you take the time to fully read, you understand that these objects do not have happy memories behind them, but more lessons: responsibility, feelings, trauma, experiences.
Everything stays, right where you left it: This is a continuation from the front cover to tie everything back together. Also understanding that the objects stay, just like the memories that come with them, even if they are perceived differently over time.
