Raster Graphic Class Project: Tattoo Artist
This assignment is about combining vector (Adobe Illustrator) images with a raster image. You will need to reference the Layer Modes assignment and determine which "mode" will best blend images into the skin, even if they have a white background. Image brushes can also be used to apply "tattoos" but a library of vector images are provided. The other key features you will use with the tattoo application is under the Edit menu: Transform > Rotate, Flip, Skew, Distort, Perspective.
Your main image should show maximum skin, but be appropriate for your portfolio. In movie terms, it should be "G" rated. Your main image can be a download or one of your own images. Several students have used their own images and surprised parents with the "after" version. If you choose to use your own image, please note the expectations of having a neutral, uncluttered background.
