Still Lifes
Here are various speed still life drawings that I drew for my Digital Painting class. It is difficult to create realism with the time that we were given but I think I did a good job with paying attention to shadows and highlights that gave the objects depth. These were all painted digitally in Photoshop.
First we painted the backgrounds and then did simple sketches for each object before painting.
Next we added color to the objects and made sure to include shadows and highlights.
The last thing we had to do was add drop shadows to each object to show that it was on a surface and not just floating in the air. This is the final product.
