soft chickens
This project is done on the Procreate app on my iPad.The objective of this project was to create a drawing that included a pattern as well as a drawing from our sketchbook. I decided to do a drawing of three stuffed animal chickens. I drew this looking based off my own stuffed animals. First I drew a rough sketch in my sketchbook. After the sketch I redrew it on procreate and made the lineart clean. After the lineart I started coloring in the chickens. I decided to use a soft color palette. These colors include pink, light pink, beige, cream, and white. I think these colors go well together and gives the overall drawing a soft look. I also added a blush pink airbrush around the drawing of the chickens. Lastly for the pattern I did simple hearts throughout the background. I decided to make the background pink to emphasize the color palette and the overall theme of soft pink.
This is the type of color palette I decided to use. I love how it gives a soft feeling and they all go well together. I also used a lot more different types of pinks.
This is what my drawing of the chickens is drawn off of. It is a chicken squishmallow. I drew this in 3 different angles.
