Located two and a half hours away from the North of Qatar, in a remote location, are The Whale Sharks of Qatar. Qatar is home to one of the largest Whale Shark populations in the world. These friendly majestic creatures are the largest fish in the ocean, and every year they congregate in the Arabian Gulf due to the water temperature. These hidden creatures have now become a national treasure, with a record of over 600 Whale Sharks spotted in the Qatari waters.
