The poster was created during a 13.1 hour poster competition at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. It is hand painted in watercolor for a humanistic touch cut out to give it a 3-dimensional effect. The watercolor painting depicts the idea of how people come together for the experience of the race as two faces can be seen in the illustration.  Whether its the runner, volunteers, cheerleaders, or by-standers, in the end each participant comes together to create a beautiful finish.
