A new year, a new you. Grade 10 student Sandro Kalaw wants to have a memorable school year because this will be his last year as a junior high student. And the first thing that changed is having a new student in class. Sandro likes her. But Sandro doesn’t know how relationships work.

Name: Sandro Kalaw
Sandro Inigo Delas Alas Kalaw is the main character of Clueless. He is a student in Gr. 10 – Kagitingan and is in the friend group, XYZS. He is one of the starting members of Basketball Team and is Gianna’s boyfriend.
Appearance:
Sandro is a teenager with semi-long spiky brown hair and brown eyes. He is slim with a muscular build and has fair skin tone. He’s the second tallest character in the cast, shorter in a few centimeters than Axton del Rosario.
Whenever Sandro wears civilian clothes, he often wears flannel shirts either it’s over a sleeveless shirt or under a vest, jeans, and sneakers. As for his home clothes, he often wears a basketball jersey and baggy shorts.
Personality:
Sandro is friendly and outgoing young man who genuinely has the greater good in mind. He is known to be inspirational, setting examples for his friends whether they are bad or good ideas. His friends most often agree to his crazy ideas or even add more fuel on either Yves Soliman’s or Zian Go’s ideas. He takes risks for fun or even for the sake of recognition.
He is known for his eccentric personality, not caring much about the rules but he doesn’t even get called out. Sandro often does things what he wants without worrying about how others think or feel. He always enjoys things what naturally occurs, even encouraging others to make the most of life.
He always cares about having fun with his friends. Always asking what they should do when they hang-out or even during breaks. He’s very focus on one thing that is planned and doesn’t let anything distract him, according to Zian. He has his own goals and ambitions that he focuses a lot of those and will not stop no matter what.
Despite this, he is known to be very confrontational. According to Axton, Sandro is argumentative towards situations that he doesn’t like. He calls out and even seeks out the people who have wronged him and would make the situation worse. He would often make jokes that would make the person feel bad.
According to Yves, Sandro is somewhat controlling, always using a passive-aggressive behavior in certain things or with people. He comes up as a jealous person that shows their dominance and competitiveness. He is also insecure about himself thinking he’s not good enough and it bothers him a lot if things don’t go his way.
Biography:
Sandro is a starting player of the Basketball team of Carnacion Preparatory School. Unlike his best friend, Axton del Rosario, he’s not as popular as him but does have a few fans. Teachers don’t have any problems with him and consider him an average student in terms of grades but he’s sometimes the reason why classes get noisy. He is the unspoken leader of the XYZS squad which consists of himself, Axton, Yves Soliman, and Zian Go. He is Gianna Elias’ future boyfriend.

Name: Axton del Rosario
Axton Vien S. del Rosario is a student in Gr. 10 – Kagitingan and is in the friend group, XYZS. He is one of the starting members of Basketball Team and was Danika’s boyfriend and Flynn’s current boyfriend.
Appearance:
Axton is a handsome and muscular young man. He has a dark complexion with black curly hair. His eyes are black and gives a bored expression on his face.
In his civilian clothes, he usually wears shirts then layered with denim jackets, khaki pants and white rubber shoes. As for his clothes at home, he wears a t-shirt and basketball shorts. His hair is often tied up and majority of the time, wears a cap.
Personality:
Axton is noted to be a quiet person in school as he is well-mannered, friendly, humble, and charismatic. He has a deadpan and straight forward personality as he shows respect towards everyone he meets. He usually speaks in a calm and polite fashion towards other people but would often be give playful, snarky, or audacious comments as he teases his friends.
He is called a “dad” in the XYZS because of him being very supportive and concerned of his friends’ shenanigans and would sometimes join in. He’s the “sane” person of the group and would keep them together. Axton is noted by the group to be the most independent person as he knows how to prioritize and work efficiently and effectively. He has an extreme devotion, whether it is to his family, friends, or people he grew fond of. He has always sought to protect those who have been close to them, and would not hesitate to be there for them.
He cares and appreciate the people who come to support him and the basketball team. Axton is passionate in playing basketball and is a hard worker, considering he kept training even after club hours and trains almost every weekend at the court near his house. He doesn’t boast about his skills and would simply state it’s all his hard work, training, his teammates, and to the supporters. Axton has the patience to talk to a lot of people and would listen to them no matter the relevance. He is very gentlemanly when dealing with women even if he’s not in a relationship.
Despite that, Axton actually has attachment and abandonment issues. He is described as clingy by Sandro Kalaw. Because of his father abandoning him and his mother has to work abroad then being left to his aunt and uncle who can’t prioritize his well-bring so they let him become independent, he wants to do the best he can for other people and not leave him. To him, he has a low relationship satisfaction and would often be anxious if he’s not being noticed by the ones he truly cares about.
In his relationship with Danika, it sometimes comes that if he’s in a relationship, it doesn’t feel like they’re in a relationship. She brought up the fact that what Axton is doing doesn’t feel like a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship but more on just a friend. To which Axton immediately becomes anxious and started to have panic attacks.
Axton became touch starve and seeks true companionship. He is still working on his mental health but he wants someone to be there with him, dealing all of the things that happened in his life.
Biography:
According the student body, Axton is one of the most popular students in school. Because of his looks, kindhearted nature, and being an athlete, he is the most approachable person and would talk to his fans. Teachers would say that in terms of academics, he needs help in Filipino and Araling Panlipunan but he’s very good in Math. He is friends with Sandro Kalaw, Yves Soliman, and Zian Go, forming the XYZS squad. He is Danika Navarro’s ex-boyfriend and Flynn Evangelista’s future boyfriend.

Name: Yves Soliman
Yves Hayden G. Soliman is a student in Gr. 10 – Karangalan and is in the friend group, XYZS. He is a member of the JIVE club and is Danika’s current boyfriend.
Appearance:
Yves is a tall young man of slim with a muscular build. He has a dark complexion with wavy long black reaching below his armpits. His eyes are black and has a sharp look on his face.
Whenever Yves wears civilian clothes, he often wears different hoodie t-shirt and ripped jeans. As for his house clothes, he often wears basketball shorts and either a sando or even shirtless.
Personality:
Yves is known as the delinquent of the school whose behavior causes a lot of trouble for the teachers. He is quite proud of his status as a self-proclaimed "troublemaker" and his rebellious, mischievous, rowdy, and disobedient nature. As seen, he often talks back at people no matter who they are or what status they have. This was shown when Yves talks back to his teachers and including his mother which results to an argument.
Despite his delinquent-behavior, he is actually very kind and altruistic. He is very concerned with the well beings of those surrounding him, especially his friends and family. He is attentive to those in need such as being there for Zian when his mother passed away. Though he argues with his mother, he takes an intense effort in studying to relieve her worries.
He is also very religious and takes the words of God in his heart. Because of his religious nature, Yves would bring up situations or teaching from the bible if he’s being reprimanded which often comes in scrutiny by his teachers about rules in school. Best example was when the teacher reprimanded him for having long hair and is giving a sermon about males having long hair then proceeding to tell him to cut his hair. Yves then proceeds to look above the teacher while she talks and as the teacher noticed Yves not paying attention, she looks up and saw a picture of Jesus Christ with long hair.
Yves is actually a considerate man. He is serious, trustworthy, and an honorable young man with a strict code in morality. He is known as the mediator of the group as he has the most mature in handing majority of the situations. He values relationship and kinship that if he feels that he did something wrong, he would immediately apologize.
Biography:
Yves is the most infamous student at Carnacion Preparatory School, making him the delinquent of the school. Teachers don’t like him but can’t suspend him due to his comments and answers being related to what the school is preaching. Students has respect towards the guy but would never want to be groupmates due to Yves’ grades and reputation. Despite having a bad reputation, he is friends with Sandro Kalaw, Axton del Rosario, and Zian Go, who all three have great reputation in school, forming the XYZS squad. He also became the future boyfriend of Danika Navarro.

Name: Zian Go
Zian Benedict O. Go is a student in Gr. 10 – Katapatan and is in the friend group, XYZS. He is a member of the Board Game club.
Appearance:
Zian has dark brown hair and has bangs covers his right eye. He has creamy-pale and yellow-ish skin with sharp facial features. He’s of Chinese descent, making his eyes narrowed. Out of the XYZS, he is the shortest and thinnest.
In civilian clothing, he usually wears collared shirts layered with sweater vests, black pants and Vans slip-on shoes. As for his clothing in home, he usually wears very loose sando and shorts.
Personality:
Zian is considered a dork in school because he only focuses on studies. He is always seen as a prim and proper student, as stated by his teachers to which majority of them question why he’s friends with Yves. However, he is more a delinquent than Yves in terms of rebelliousness and mischievousness.
He is considered petty, conceited, and reckless in almost any situation. He may respect others’ opinion but he disregards their opinions and values his self. He has the “My way or the highway” mentality due to his upbringing. When he is in the wrong, he will not admit he is at the wrong and would tell people that they do not understand what he’s going through.
Zian is also very concerned with himself. He can be considered self-obsessed both in a positive and negative ways. He wants to find more things about himself and is excellent at putting on and taking off masks as the situation calls. He is sometimes overbearing, inflexible, and cold.
Though he has these bad traits, he is considered loyal to his friends and care a lot about them. He is honest and direct to tell others what he thinks about. He is always willing to try new things and take risks. He is competent, imaginative, and steady.
He has a slight resentment towards women due to his upbringing. Zian would constantly roll his eyes every time something happens and if a woman is involved. His resentment started to diminish after the death of his mother and have to take care of his sibling. He later became less reckless and more responsible in life, especially because of he has people to rely on.
Biography:
Zian is regarded as the teachers’ favorite student at Carnacion Preparatory High School. He is in the Top 20 students in the batch and Top 5 in his class. He is valued for his intelligence and his way in delivering his explanations. However, majority of the students don’t like him or tend to avoid him because of his recklessness and doesn’t want anyone to contrast his opinions, especially on groupworks. He’s friends with Sandro Kalaw, Axton del Rosario, and Yves Soliman, the latter who everyone questions how they are even friends, forming the XYZS squad.

Name: Gianna Elias
Gianna Lianna W. Elias is a student in Gr. 10 – Kagitingan. She is a member of the Robotics club and was Sandro’s girlfriend.
Appearance:
Gianna has brown hair in a lob cut with layered bangs. Her brown eyes always shine with curiosity. She is of average female height, garnering the 158.5 cm tall.
Whenever Gianna wears civilian clothes, she usually wears oversize shirts, baggy pants or cargo pants, and rubber shoes. While dating Sandro, she wears more girlish outfits such as crop tops and shorts or skirts. It is revealed that Gianna felt uncomfortable wearing the outfits but didn’t want to make Sandro feel bad. At home, she often wears baggy t-shirts and short shorts.
Personality:
Gianna is very emotional and has great understanding towards people. She has a cheery, sociable, boyish personality that is well liked by her friends. She is often depicted as a tomboy. She’s trained in taekwondo and arnis, she loves watching action movies, would not wear skirts aside from the school uniform and doesn’t seem to care about fashion.
She’s a natural born leader, always taking in charge of situations and can be very serious. Gianna is determined as she strives for excellence in doing her work stating that she doesn’t do mundane work. She’s very ambitious as she has set her goals high and she doesn’t see or set limits in their lives. She doesn’t let anything stop her in hanging out with her friends. She wants to be there for them and help out as much as she can.
Gianna is very secretive about her life and doesn’t talk much about herself. She is honest but she doesn’t like to show her weaknesses towards people. She hides her true feelings even to her friends because she doesn’t want to hurt anyone. Besides that, she is very unsure of herself. She has doubts about herself and her appearance, sometimes questioning if she looks attractive. Because of it, she’s eager to please others even if it contradicts her likes or beliefs. She is also a perfectionist, always wanting the work to look the best and considers anything that doesn’t fit her standards a failure.
She is depicted as childish as she is sometimes immature and gullible to a lot of situations. As a result, she often gets hurt easily by people who calls her that. However, Zian states that she’s not childish but childlike. She may be immature but it’s more that she has sense of innocence and optimism that resembles like a child.
Biography:
Gianna is a new student at Carnacion Preparatory School. Not much is known about her besides that she was friends with Flynn Evangelista before transferring to the school. She is also friends with Danika Navarro and is the future girlfriend of Sandro Kalaw.

Name: Flynn Evangelista
Flynn Ulysses L. Evangelista is a student in Gr. 10 – Kagitingan. He is a member of the PEP Squad and is Axton’s boyfriend.
Appearance:
Flynn is a short young man of slim and lithe with a slight muscular build. He has a medium fair skin complexion with short black hair. His hair includes curtain bangs and is a bit wavy. He has black-colored eyes and always wears glasses during school. He wears contact lens when he is in his club.
He often wears shirts on top of loose short sleeve blouses, trousers, and rubber shoes for his civilian wear. Flynn often wears oversize shirts and short shorts at home.
Personality:
Flynn is an enthusiastic and passionate person who loves to show off his skills. He’s very gregarious and has his own charisma shine through as he talks to people and perform. He’s flamboyant and dramatic when he’s hanging out with friends. He actually can make corny jokes and jabs and even dark humor that people would either laugh or question his sanity. Often enough, he’s outspoken and assertive about things he’s interested.
Despite these, he considers himself an introverted person. He’s not shy as he can make conversations but he’s very much a private person. He prefers discussing about the other person he’s talking to rather than talking about himself, stating that it’s private. He’s sociable to a select few and would prefer to hang out with the people he truly likes. He also practices, trains, and plays games by himself to avoid some unnecessary conflicts.
Flynn seems to be rather perceptive. He quickly notices Axton’s distress and Zian’s mental state about to burst. He’s a compassionate individual as he is always prepared to sympathies with other people. Axton notes that Flynn is an excellent conversationalist as he is always there to listen to his problems. He cares a lot for other people’s experiences and well-being, often showing a sense of warm, generous inclination to put others at ease.
Funnily enough, he has a habit of trash talking when playing online games, much to the surprise of everyone and he is considered Yves’ favorite in playing. He also gossips a lot with Danika and Gianna and would talk about random things with Axton.
Biography:
Flynn is a member of the CPS PEP Squad of the Carnacion Preparatory School. Though a member of the PEP Squad, he’s not considered as a popular student amongst his batch. He used to be a new student in Grade 7 and he is known by his peers as very friendly. Teachers stated that he has a hard time in Math but other than that, he’s all good. He’s very known to be gay in school. It is unknown why the teachers haven’t given him the “TALK” but rumors says that Yves did something. Flynn is best friends with Danika Navarro and Gianna Elias, who the latter was classmates prior to going to Carnacion. He is also the future boyfriend of Axton del Rosario.

Name: Danika Navarro
Daniella Nicole M. Navarro is a student in Gr. 10 – Kalayaan and the Gr. 10 Level Representative. She is a member of the Robotics club, was Axton’s girlfriend and future Yves’ girlfriend.
Appearance:
Danika is a young girl who has dark brown hair in a bob cut with feathered bangs and the tips of her hair goes outside. Her eyes are brown and narrowed that may turn into slits. She is the shortest amongst the group and in the batch.
Comparing to the rest of the group, she is focuses on her looks to be cute. Her civilian clothes consist of either blouses and short skirts or even blouses and jumper dress or skirts. She often wears platform boots and a beret. For her home clothes, she’s always wearing sleeveless and short shorts.
Personality:
Danika is a very kind and compassionate girl, noted by Axton del Rosario. She is portrayed as intelligent, mature, and independent, with a sophisticated flare. She has a strong sense of who she is, which manifested after being encourage by her former boyfriend when they were in Grade 4.
When she was a child, she is unpopular due to her height and being a “good girl pushover”. Danika has always been bullied because of it and she was very isolated and very withdrawn, believing that she’s all alone. All that changed when Axton stepped up for her during the bullying.
As she reached high school, she tried once more to open up to the people. She’s able to press on without caring about the opinions of others due to Axton and her new friend, Flynn Evangelista. She became more vocal about certain opinions and would talk about what’s happening in school with Flynn.
Though she is confident about her appearance, she sometimes feels she wants to grow taller as shown as she keeps wearing platform boots or heels. She values the importance of appearance and wants to show who she wants to be.
Danika can also be rather scornful when annoyed or upset and isn't even above using profanity when pushed over the edge. Her patience has a limit, just like when she was bad-mouthed by Zian, she stood up for herself and fought him until she slapped him.
She values company and relationships in life. Danika also wants people also supporting her to the fullest and not out of pity. She wants to be there for her friends as she is very supportive to what they want and would tell them what they might be doing is wrong. Her ultimate basis for making decisions seems to be that of what she deems best for herself as an individual, this was shown by how she broke up with Axton because she no longer saw their relationship being a boyfriend-girlfriend thing but as friends.
Biography:
Danika used to be one of the most unpopular students at Carnacion Preparatory School, but became the Grade 8 and 9 Level Representative and she is currently serving as the Grade 10 Level Representative in the Student Council. She is in the Top 20 students in the batch and Top 5 in her class. Though she has an average reputation, she is still being talked about by her peers. She is best friends with Flynn Evangelista and friends with Gianna Elias. She was the former girlfriend of Axton del Rosario and future girlfriend of Yves Soliman.
