Raster Graphics class: Russell Brown Project

Russell Brown, Senior Creative Director at Adobe Systems Inc, challenged the design community to give him a costume. The objective of this assignment in Raster Graphics was to use the tools and knowledge we learned from past assignments to manipulate Russell Brown into someone else.

Key Objectives and Photoshop Features:

1. I used curves to make the skin tone brown 

2. I used the eraser to erase Russells face so Beyonce’s hair will go over his face, as well as the letters to go over his face.

3. I used the smooth tool to smooth out the harsh hair line. 

4. I used the Burn tool to darken his skin tone and eyebrows. 

5. I used the brush tool to make his lips pink and to create eyeliner. 

6. I used the magic wand tool to make the eyelashes transparent so I could place them on his eyes. 

7. I erased his skin for one of the earrings to show, but then changed my mind so I used the clone stamp tool to cover the earring up. I also used this to fix some sides of his face that were uneven.
