Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise)

The bird of paradise has an intermediate growth rate taking 4-5 years to mature and start blooming. It can reach up to 3m tall and 2.5m wide in its natural habitat, but more likely to reach a height of 1.5 – 2m and a width of 1-1.5m in cultivation.
