Holding Time Pendant

I was inspired by icebergs and the geologist Minik Rosing's and Olafur Eliasson's "Ice Watch" project. I feel that the moment a glacier melts is a wonderful representation of the topic of keeping time. The evolution of our civilization in the past was tightly tied to the ice age, and the same is true of our future.
I applied the same concept to the three vessels. The main body is a geometric cube; I removed a portion of it from the top while keeping the sharp edges on one side; I then smoothed the transition on the other side and added some parts to give the whole the appearance of melting;
All of the pendant's sharp corners have been rounded off to match the smooth ceramics. At the same time, exploring the negative space is given more focus. In this approach, the mystery of what is hidden behind the iceberg's horizon is made clear.
The first piece is hammered to create a texture on the surface to replicate the texture of the waves, with a figurative iceberg in the center to highlight how small it is in comparison to the huge ocean. While the second one is hollowed out and shaped like an iceberg at the base. In the final piece, the lower part's triangular shape contrasts with the upper part's plain lines, giving it a highly decorative appearance.
