Buy NOW!  Bodoni Font
In my ART 230 class, we were asked to create a font poster, using one of the class fonts, that could be used to market the font for fonts.com.  We were instructed to make sure the poster has a "function to catch someone's eye, inform, and then encourage them to purchase a font."  I chose the BODONI font because I loved the look of the serifs, lines, and curves of the script.
Take a closer look...
This was STEP 6 in my processing book this week and the display of my final poster.
When you take a closer look at my poster, you can see that I used an asymmetrical design for balance.  I then used hierarchy to have the viewers eye first be interested in the shapes and lines of the fonts and then the eye goes to the name of the font.  Smaller, less significant but also informative information was then placed on the poster in smaller font to be read once interest was taken.
Last but not least... COLOR!
Trying to find the color palette that shares the personality of a font is very daunting!  I tried all spectrums of color palettes but I really liked the bold, vibrant colors.  I think it made the font stand out and mixed with the black and white, it was my favorite combination.  When choosing colors, it is important to remember that preset colors are ok to use, but don't stop there.  Keep exploring different color combinations until you find those that set your design apart.
The colors were impressive, once printed and displayed!
