UV Creative Portrait - Final Shoot

This is the final UV shoot I did for the final crative review image. These are a selection of the best pictures from the shoot, completely unedited. I now have to pick which one works best for the final image and then maybe do some minor editing. Overall I am pleased with the results of the shoot.
Creative Direction
I really liked the idea of working with UV light because I have never done any UV photography before. I was really drawn to the images with neon paint. I wanted to try a close up UV portrait with white shapes running down the side of my face. My main problem with doing this kind of photography was the fact that in such low light it was really hard to focus the lens on the subject. In my test shoots I found a lot of my images, although looked in focus at the start weren’t actually in focus when they were brought into the computer.

Model – As this is a creative self-portrait, the model will be myself.

Wardrobe and Styling – My face will be splatted with UV paint and also white foam shapes will be stuck to my face.

Pose and Staging – The pose will be close up and relaxed

Technical Considerations:

Lights
Two UV blacklights will be the only light source used.

Camera
I used a Nikon.
Set on manual with manual focus

Action
The shoot took approximately 3 hours, including set up, test shots and actual shots.
