Early Bird is a fictitous small neighborhood bakery and cafe, located in New York City (with a new location coming to Dumbo, Brooklyn). When buying and preparing ingredients, an emphasis is put on handpicked organic, locally and community grown/harvested food. When creating a website, business card, and punch/loyalty card I wanted to give the viewer a sense that the business was a supporter of the community, showed that it used handpicked organic and local ingredients from businesses and farms in the community, and also engaged the consumer.
